Khadija Roane is a graduate from the illustrious Howard University, where she received her BFA in Theatre Arts. Khadija most recently graduated from UCLA's MFA Producers program where she interned in film and television development for producers and companies such as Charles D. King's MACRO, Roy Lee's Vertigo Films, Effie Brown's Gamechanger Films, and most recently Pamplona Productions with Amy Lippman.
Prior to attending UCLA, Khadija was a Play Director for elementary schools across South Los Angeles and the Bay Area. Khadija’s work has been a finalist in the Pittsburgh Shorts Screenwriting Competition and a Quarterfinalist in the Atlanta Film Festival. Khadija is a recipient of the Dan Angel Family Award (selected by judges Carl Franklin, Justin Falvey, and Christina Jokanovich) and the Barbara Boyle Promising Producer Award.
